I plan to visit Turunc for 3 weeks in September. Is anyone able to tell me where to find the rules for foreign spearos? Do I need a license, and where do I get it from? And what is the best local dive shop?

You need a licence to go spearfishing. There is no examination or anything like that you probably pay 15-20£ maybe less and get it. There is no place that you can rent the equipments for spearfishing here in Turkey. Im not sure but there might not be a good store to buy spearfishing equipments in Marmaris aswell. You might need to buy them online. (www.mertsubonline.com) You can check this one to have clue about prices and local brands.
@stephenson1988 Hey welcome to spearfishingturkey. There is a freediving school in Marmaris and they sell all spearfishing equipment. No need to buy online. You can go to Deephumans Freediving School and talk with them. The founder of this school Poyraz Akın. You can communicate with him so he can help you.
